In this lesson I chose to use my ducks in the photographs to represent food before it has become food. I chose to use an orange to represent a classic dish called 'Duck a l'orange' which is a recognised duck dish. I think this shoot went quite well however due to the main focal point being the ducks and them being living things that move around this added an extra challenge for the shoot. Also to improve I would try and use more cooking implements in order to get the point of the photos across a bit more.
I think that this photograph works well because both objects are obvious and create a very interesting and controversial photograph. To improve this photograph I would perhaps consider closer up on the face of the duck to make the photo have a more sad and even more controversial effect of the audience.
I think this photograph works really well as this is a really in focus photograph of the duck and it is standing over the orange as if it is an egg. To improve this photograph I would try and use a whiter background or a colour that makes the duck stand out more to make a more interesting photograph.
This shoot is a development from shoot six and four as it shows the controversial side of food photography as I am suggesting that this living animal is for eating, something that not everybody would agree with.
These photographs are all based around the idea of controversial foods.
