Image within an image - Work Diary

In this lesson we looked at the technique of an image within another image, and a video within an image that could either be relater/connected shown in the image or not as shown in the video. I really enjoyed this lesson because it was really fun to edit the video and the photographs.
In this photograph I got Taylor to hold up the frame in front of this wall as I found the flags to be colourful and pretty. I found that to improve this it would make more sense to get her to stand in front of something that actually connects with the background image as it slightly seems as if Taylor is holding up a photo which may be put on the wall however this is actually what would be there if she was not standing there. I do however think that the lighting and colours in the photo worked well and this would definitely be a technique that I would change and use again.

I really like my video in a photo because instead of just changing the colour of the background image I also changed the colour in the video itself so that it opposed what was happening to the colour of the photo. I also used a man made background which is durable and strong as the image and then used a natural and changing item for my video. The only thing I would do to improve this video is stop it from jumping slightly when the colour changes. If I where to do this again I would use a different photo and try connecting it to the video.
