In this photograph both the man turning the page and his head can be seen through the use of animation. This makes a far more interesting image and story than if it was just a motionless picture of the man. The picture gives the audience a good idea of the characteristics of the man through location, props and lighting. This photo has used the rule of thirds and the man is in the first third despite the fact he is the main focus point. The other two thirds are taken up by the location, helping the audience get a wider view of what the photograph is trying to show.
In this photograph the model is completely still however the flickering of the lighter is seen in the animation. This makes it the main focus point of the photo and make it a far more interesting photo than if it didn't have the animation. This photo has quite dark negative tones and lighting so the light of the lighter is juxtaposed to this and could be signifying the light at the end of the tunnel.
In this photo the ladies eyes move as the looks at herself in the mirror. I think this makes a really interesting photograph as the shot is complex as we are looking at her looking at herself in the mirror. Her eyes moving make this photograph have an eerie feel to it as pictures are often stationary. Here black eye make up, red lipstick and dark clothing also present an eerie feel to the photograph. I love how in this photograph there are many focal points such as three different reflections of the women's eyes as she moves them.
In the above animation the movement of the ladies hair and the fur on her jacket are moving and she is completely stationary. This image illustrates how the wind can blow about fine things like hair and fur but would not a this level affect a person. The animation makes this a far more interesting portrait than if it was motionless and helps to capture more of the information behind the image.
In this photograph the mans jacket is seen blowing in the wind however his whole body remains stationary. This photo comes across as a bit like location portraiture as the man in the photograph seems to be of a high status and seems to be looking up at something that could be perceived to belong to him. His costume of bow tie and stern face also support this.
This is a very interesting and eye catching photograph due to the fact that it not only shows the use of animation but also shows a view of the world in reflection and normal. The lights of the cars as they travel past also make this photo interesting and unique. The only thing |I don't like about this photograph is that the car mirror moves and in order for this to be a more successful image the camera should have remained in the same place.
