Multiple imagery - Work diary

In this lesson we were looking at the technique of multiple imagery. This is where you put together a groups of photos of one object to build up a more detailed photo of the object. I felt that some objects worked better than others as some of them didn't really seem as if they link. I preferred the location shoot to the studio one as I felt it was a little bit limited where as the location shoot had many different objects to choose from. To improve these photographs I would consider using a more detailed and complex object so that each photograph would build up a picture of the intricate details on the object, however the aim was not to recreate the object.
I feel that this was one of my better multiple imagery photographs because the complexity of the leaves going in all different directions and in different shades of green make the photo interesting and eye-catching. I chose not to have a gap between this photograph as I think the edge of each photo is obvious in these photographs anyway and no gap makes it more like a single photograph.
I think that this photo was also successful because it shows all of the different details of the shoes in all different close ups and detail. I also think this looks better with the gap because it shows the separation and change of the photographs. To improve this multiple imagery I would make sure my background was completely white instead of cream and make sure its the same colour throughout all of the photographs.
